Large Red v Small Red
The key thing to look for is the colour of their legs, Large Reds have black legs, Small Reds have reddish legs. The small red is also quite a bit smaller and so this can be noticeable.
The Large Red season tends to be a lot earlier than the Small Red too. Large Reds peek May/June, Small Reds Mid June/July.
